RankedByAI exists to answer one question every business owner is starting to ask: when a customer asks an AI assistant for a recommendation, am I in the answer?
For twenty years, being findable meant ranking on Google. A whole industry — SEO — grew up around measuring and improving that. Now a growing share of buying questions (“best plumber near me”, “which accountant should I use”, “top CRM for a small agency”) are asked to conversational AI assistants instead. The assistant doesn’t return ten blue links; it names three or four businesses. Either you’re one of them, or you’re invisible.
The frustrating part: most businesses have no way of knowing which side of that line they’re on. You can’t open a search console for ChatGPT. So we built the simplest possible answer — a free scan that asks AI models the questions your buyers actually ask, in your city and industry, and shows you exactly what comes back: who gets recommended, how often you’re mentioned, and which sources the AI leaned on.
What we believe
Measurement before promises. Nobody can honestly guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend your business — anyone who says otherwise is selling snake oil. What we can do is measure where you stand, track how it changes week over week, and prescribe the on-site fixes that are known to help AI systems understand and cite your pages.
Honesty over hype. Our marketing numbers come from our own production database with an as-of date (August 3, 2026: 688 AI answers analyzed, 3,514 citations extracted). We list only the AI channels we actually query. During our open beta everything is free, and we say so on every pricing card.
Small, fast, global. RankedByAI is a small product built on Cloudflare’s edge, shipped in short cycles (see the changelog), and available in six languages from day one because AI answers differ by market and language.
How the product works
Each scan runs 29 buyer-question templates across three AI channels — two direct model channels and one search-grounded channel that feeds live web results to the model. Answers are parsed sentence by sentence, brand mentions are attributed and normalized, cited URLs are extracted, and the result is graded A–F. Paid monitoring re-runs this weekly and turns the gaps into page-level fix prescriptions you can mark done and re-verify. The full pipeline is documented on the methodology page.

We are our own first customer — the case studies on the customers page are our own experiments, clearly labeled as such, until real customer stories earn their place there.
