A scan touches three kinds of data. Here is exactly what we store and for how long.

What a scan collects

  1. What you enter — business name, website, industry, location, and (for monitoring) your email address.
  2. What AI models answer — the sampled answers to your buyer questions, stored verbatim with their parsed mentions, sentiment and cited URLs. These are model outputs about your market, not personal data harvested from anywhere.
  3. What your public website serves — the audit fetches at most robots.txt, llms.txt and your homepage, with capped sizes and an identified user-agent (RankedByAI-Audit), storing only check results and small details needed to explain them.

We do not crawl your site beyond those fetches, do not collect data about your customers, and do not sell any data.

Retention

  • Scan reports (/r/<id>) are kept for one year from creation. Export a PDF if you need a snapshot beyond that.
  • Monitoring data (scan history, trends, prompts, settings) is kept for as long as your monitoring is active, so your trend history stays complete.
  • Emails are used for sign-in links and the notifications you enabled — nothing else. See Email notifications.

Access and sharing

Report links are unlisted-but-public; dashboard links are private tokens. The full model is described in Dashboard access and sharing. Internally, dashboards are reachable only via their token or the owning account.

Removal requests

Email support@zalize.com from the relevant address to:

  • delete a scan report before its one-year expiry,
  • delete a monitoring dashboard and its history,
  • delete your account and associated data,
  • rotate a dashboard token that leaked.

Removals are processed manually during the beta and confirmed by reply.
