Monitoring runs weekly whether or not you visit the dashboard. Two kinds of email keep you informed — both optional, both controlled from dashboard Settings.

Weekly report email

Sent after your weekly scheduled scan completes. It summarizes:

  • your current grade and mention rate, with the change since last week
  • movement in the competitor picture
  • notable changes in citations and diagnosis checks

The email links back to the dashboard for the full picture. It is a digest, not a data dump — a 30-second read that tells you whether anything needs attention.

Rate alerts

An alert email is triggered when your mention rate moves sharply between scans — a drop worth investigating (did a model update change answers? did your site break?) or a jump worth celebrating (did your fixes land?). Alerts exist so you don't have to watch the dashboard to catch a big move.

Turning them on and off

  1. Open your dashboard and go to Settings.
  2. Under notifications you'll find two toggles: the weekly summary and rate alerts.
  3. Toggle and save. Changes apply from the next scan onward.

Emails go to the address you registered during monitoring setup. During the beta, changing the recipient address is handled by support@zalize.com.

Delivery notes

  • Emails come from our sending domain via our email provider; add the sender to your contacts if the first one lands in spam.
  • We send only these product notifications — there is no marketing list attached to your monitoring email.
  • If you disable both toggles you'll receive no routine email at all; scans keep running and the data keeps accumulating in your dashboard.
