Scans
How long does a scan take? Usually a few minutes — 29 questions × 3 channels are sampled while a progress view keeps you posted. See Run your first scan.
Why do two scans of the same business differ? AI model outputs are not deterministic. Small differences are normal noise; trends across weekly scans are the reliable signal. See Your visibility grade.
Can I scan a competitor? You can scan any business name and website — the scan only asks AI models questions and reads public pages. Competitor scans are a legitimate way to benchmark.
Does scanning affect my ranking anywhere? No. Asking models questions doesn't change their behavior, and the site audit is a handful of read-only fetches.
Coverage
Do you check ChatGPT / Gemini / Claude / Perplexity? No — and we say so plainly. Scans query two direct Grok channels and a Brave-grounded Grok channel. See Which AI platforms are covered?.
Why trust results from those channels? Because grounded answers are built from the same public web all assistants retrieve from, and every sampled answer is inspectable in your report.
Monitoring & billing
What does monitoring cost? During the open beta, everything is free — no credit card. Planned post-beta prices are published on /pricing so there are no surprises.
How often do re-scans run? Weekly, automatically. See Set up weekly monitoring.
Can I change which questions are asked? Yes — add, edit, enable and disable prompts from the dashboard. See Managing prompts.
Reports & data
How long do report links last? One year. Export a PDF for anything you need longer.
Can I get my data out? Yes — prompts and answers export as CSV, reports as PDF, and removal requests are honored. See Data, privacy and retention.
